Elizabeth Craft Designs Gives Me Hope

It's been such a short time since I remember Els first demo'ing at CHA with the micro fine glitter and Shimmer Sheetz! Both her son, Mark, and her daughter, Josette, were there helping out and seemed so young. Now, the Elizabeth Craft Designs product line is extensive and quite popular. I bought a few things at the consumer show I attended in Anaheim, and I've just now taken some of the ECD goodness out of the bag!

Elizabeth Craft Designs, Ranger, US Art Quest, Copic Markers, IMAGINE Crafts, Tsukineko, MISTI Stamp Positioner, Memory Box

Adhered adhesive sheet 3.5" X 3.5" to the same size piece of white card stock. Removed the protective sheet on the reverse side without putting my fingerprint anywhere on the adhesive. Applied silk microfine glitter to the entire surface; after shaking off, burnished in the remaining glitter over the entire surface with my fingers. Stamped the bird image with VersaFine in Smokey Gray to make the outline more subtle. Applied color onto glitter surface with Copic markers using a light touch. Fussy cut image. Die cut grapevine wreath with decorated card stock. After, slightly intertwined bird cut with the wreath die cut; flipped over and applied Glossy Accents with the needle-nose tip bottle. Adhered to card base. Stamped sentiment onto linen card stock using the MISTI; stamping onto textured card stock might require more than one stamping for even coverage. Cut with stitched rectangle die. Adhered with double-sided adhesive; tucked bottom of rectangle under bird's head. Applied a couple of flower sequins. Applied a very thin line of Glossy Accents on the flower center lines to adhere the Mini Prills, pearl-like accents.

Impression Obsession has been busy with a Masculine Card Design blog hop. This was Dina Kowal's design that I thought was a fun one, especially if dad is miles away!
