More Spirit Dolls

I feel quite good that I've managed to complete 4 more of the Spirit Doll cards from Vesta Abel's class at Art 'n Soul weekend before last. I only used bits and pieces left from the card class and the journal cover class, and anything I could find laying around in the studio. I did not create anything new for any of the cards; shows you how many die cuts I have boxed up! All of the polymer clay faces were made by Vesta for the cards. If this is the first time you've seen these cards, please go back to my previous post for the "how-to" description.

On this card, I embossed the black die cut piece Vesta provided us in the class kit. Then I put a plastic straw under it to add some dimension. I found some scraps I had saved when I was experimenting with IMAGINE Crafts' Amplify! and Studio Glaze on black card stock; I used one for a sarape with added foam bits from the journal cover class the evening before.

Here are the sample cards that Vesta Abel shared with us for inspiration.

These Spirit Dolls are captivating. I think they would make wonderful wall hangings or displays on easels. I'm so fortunate that Vesta Abel came to Lacey WA to teach at Art 'n Soul. If you go to her website, she has many artistic talents and is also a professional handwriting analyst.

Thank you for stopping in. Your visit is always welcome and it is appreciated.
