Flowers & Words

I love the look of words intertwined with flowers. Rather than use my usual two stamps that incorporate this kind of design, I decided to branch out and combine the two designs onto one card on my own.

Magenta, Altenew, Copic Markers, Tsukineko, IMAGINE Crafts, MISTI, Paper Parachute

I stamped the floral image from Magenta with VersaFine in Onyx Black onto smooth white card stock. After heat setting it, The sentiment was then stamped over the floral image with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne (hello) and Morning Mist (a warm). By using the MISTI for the stamping, I could ensure that the black totally covered the hello because I did have to re-stamp it 2-3 times to make sure I had total coverage. The flowers were colored with Copic markers. Adhesive backed pearls in lavender (these show as pink in the photo) were added to the card design. The stamped panel was adhered to a rectangle scrap of green designed paper, which was then adhered to the base card.

Magenta: Azalea (C14.651.Q)

Altenew: Mega Greetings Stamp Set (ALT2229)

Copic Markers: Prune (BV02); Iridescent Mauve (BV000); Spring Dim Green (G82); Lime Green (G21)

Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts: VersaFine in Onyx Black; VersaFine Clair in Nocturne and Morning Mist

Green Card Stock: Paper Parachute

Stamp Platform: MISTI

Look through your own collection of floral and sentiment stamps and give this design a try. Thanks so much for stopping by.
