Combining fine art rubber stamping, mixed media techniques and paper crafting, these are art forms that I love to share. I like the idea of learning together -- sharing what I learn and learning from what others share.
Well, the day started out with so many intentions continuing from yesterday. I took the one and only step down to the garage and my ankle gave way. I went down and did something my ankle didn't like. Nothing broke but it sure feels like someone hit my left foot with a humongous sledgehammer. I limped my way to the post office and returned home. All I've done is sit in my big chair with my foot up and on ice. Nothing is helping. Oh well. Live and learn. I've learned I'm a klut
I promised something totally different and I think I found a very simple "different" from what I've posted the last couple of days. LOL! Meet a new stamp line I discovered, Stamping Bella's Cool Chicks Collection . . . full of humor! My sis-in-law has been trying to exercise and I haven't quite jumped up to join her yet. So I thought this card would be most appropriate to send to her. On white card stock, I stamped with Memento in Tuxedo Black. Used my Copic Markers to color
I was mesmerized watching a posting on Sandy Allnock's blog; the background music and lack of chatter added to the "zen" atmosphere. It inspired me to try out what she was doing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a similar stamp that didn't include foilage of some kind, so I found the second best in my stash. I've used this stamp before for a posting last month. Another challenge I had was the darkest tone Copic Marker; I didn't have one as dark as the one Sandy used. Really mad
