Combining fine art rubber stamping, mixed media techniques and paper crafting, these are art forms that I love to share. I like the idea of learning together -- sharing what I learn and learning from what others share.
Yikes! It's been since the end of November since I've shared something artsy with you. Two trips to London, the holidays, a trip to Orlando, a trip to Palm Springs, and a month of the awful crud has certainly turned the daily routine of life upside down and sideways. Trying to catch up is another saga. I saw this technique on one of Jennifer McGuire's videos and loved it. It requires a layered stamp set, a stamp positioner like the Misti, VersaMark ink and Perfect Pearls. Alt
What a blur these past couple of days have been. Today was much more calm, and it was a great day because it started with a class using new art board cut-outs from Inchie Arts. There were 3 of us who totally enjoyed Lisa Lee's class. She's teaching it again at Art 'n Soul in Lacey, WA on Saturday, July 9. If you're not signed up for this class, you're going to want to. Later, I went to Costco and found the perfect salad kit for dinner. I continued my organizing and purging, and I even managed to c
Yesterday was another day of not a lot of time in the studio for anything. So, I spent a good deal of time last night into the wee hours continuing to undo what is visible in the main area of the house from my organization and purging project. My dear husband is getting somewhat anxious because we have a St. Paddy's dinner party for 12 on Thursday. In between clearing away, I had to do something in the studio. I had come across these mixed media boards we had worked on at a M
