Inspiration from Local King Rubber Stamps

My Friday and Saturday this past weekend was spent at the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. I helped my friend Lisa Yang, creator and owner of Local King Rubber Stamps based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. She is a real dynamo and so very clever with her designs.

She introduced her newest stamp designs; the coordinating dies arrived Monday due to a shipping snafu. There are so many of these that I like, as well as many of her established ones. I had to take a written inventory of what I already had purchased in the past so I wouldn't buy something I own -- which I frequently do!

This was just one of the new designs that caught my eye several times at the show:

ZEN GARDEN(5) EZ MOUNTED RUBBER STAMPS

ZEN GARDEN(5) MATCHING DIES SET

by Lisa Yang

Local King Rubber Stamp Co.

You must see the holiday decor piece Lisa made with the train stamp and die sets.

ALL ABOARD ! (5) Matching dies

ALL ABOARD ! (5) STATIC MOUNTED RUBBER STAMPS

by Lisa Yang, Local King Rubber Stamp Co.

When you see this in person as Lisa Yang explains how she made it, the perceived difficulty factor begins to disappear. Space between the train and background is filled with Fantasy Fiber in white to imitate a snowy landscape. Very clever!

I will be scheduling a card class using Local King Rubber Stamps after the first of the year, so watch for a notice here and from Art 'n Soul in Lacey, Washington. In the meantime, you can click on this link to see more of the new releases by going to their website: www.localkingrubberstamps.com

Thanks again for stopping by.
