For another Irish friend, I've made this card. I hope it's "green" enough that the lack of a shamrock or a leprechaun doesn't make them turn green! I used various green tones and shades from my Copic marker set. I've been so immersed in cleaning out, organizing and purging my art supplies that my body is starting to scream at me. Thus, the quick and simple card.
Magenta Stamp: Bohemian Flower 85.008.O
Rosie's Roadshow Stamp (sentiment)
Copic Markers: YG06; G14; G43; YG17; G05; G17; G28; G46
VersaFine ink in Olympia Green (sentiment)
Memento ink in Tuxedo Black (flower stamp)
Authentique Paper 6x6 Pad: "Lucky"
So Silk card stock in Shocking Green
Linen Card Stock in Cream (base card)
Starform Sticker Outline Stickers in Gold 842 (outline around card stock panels)
Droplets in green by Queen & Co.
I hope you'll look at your stamps a little differently for St. Patrick's Day cards . . . the images do not always have to be 'true' Irish!
Heather Telford has created another beautiful watercolor card design for Penny Black Stamps. Since poppies are one of my Top 5 faves, I wanted to share this card with you.

Also from the Penny Black blog, this card was one of several featuring "layering" techniques using Penny Black stamps. I loved how the framing was layered and textured, as well as the vibrant colors of the floral bouquet.

My friends Gail and Sue have a new 3-month puppy in their life . . . meet Miss Mocha! She is so tiny, adorable and sweet. Don't you agree?
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you back here tomorrow.
