I was prepared to post from Anaheim and discovered, to my chagrin, that I was unable to use my iPad for editing purposes. Something new to research and learn. The Scrapbook Show in Anaheim, CA was a busy time for Local King Rubber Stamps where I worked. It was such fun to watch people, who had no idea about stamping, discover the "magic" of Lisa's stamp designs and coloring techniques. We flew back to Seattle yesterday afternoon.
Naturally, I had to run to my stash of Local King Rubber Stamps last night and make a quick card before turning in.
I colored the reverse stamp design with Local King Rubber Stamps' water-based markers and stamped onto glossy card stock. I cut out the image with the matching die.
On separate glossy card stock, applied Dew Drop size Memento inks direct to paper using a light touch. Stamped sentiment with StazOn using the MISTI stamp positioner.
Trimmed top panel to 3.75" x 5". Adhered to mat panel 3-7/8" x 5-1/8", and then adhered to A2 base card.
Die cut image adhered with mini Glue Dots and pop dots behind birds' wings. Added random spaced droplets.

At the Anaheim show, Scrapbook Storage had a multitude of scrapbook paper. What amazed me even more was the "filing" system they had. All browsers had to do was look at the tabs to get an idea of what the paper design was; the divider tabs had a miniaturized photocopy of the decorated paper. If someone has a lot of time on their hands, this would be the ultimate in scrapbook paper!
On the Magenta blog, Ellie Knol created this gorgeous card design using one of the newly-released Magenta stamps and Magenta's Nuance watercolors.
