Showers Linger into May

More time in the studio today to clean up my workspace, as best I could. Then I was ready to make something with this Impression Obsession stamp designed by Dina Kowal. I've always thought that this silhouette of a young girl with an umbrella is so sweet.

Impression Obsession, Memory Box, Craft Concepts, Die-namics, Magenta Style, Nuance Watercolor Powders, IMAGINE Crafts, Tsukineko, Pretty Pink Posh

I had this piece of left-over watercolor card stock that had been colored with one of Magenta's Nuance watercolor powders. I stamped the image with Memento ink. Then I die-cut around the image with the raindrops die.

The stamped panel and a back-color panel for the raindrops was cut with the next to the largest circle die. The top card panel was die cut with the next smaller circle die to serve as a window to the stamped image, and then embossed with a butterfly grouping design folder. The die cut stamped panel was positioned beneath the window opening and taped down on the backside, along with the back-color die cut.

Everything was adhered to the 5-inch square card base. Clear droplets were adhered to the card front using mini glue dots. A small ribbon bow was placed at the girl's "waistline".
