It's the new year. The actual New Year's Day was a "holiday" at our house. Today, it's "back to work" . . . taking the decorations down, making a couple of cards, packing up a box of treats for our granddaughters in London, and securing our rental accommodations on the big island of Hawaii for this coming December. Egads!
This is a birthday card I made for a dear friend.
Craft Concepts "Secret Garden" Embossing Folder
Tutti Designs "Tulip Panel" Die TUTTI-190
(Birthday die using gold glitter paper; words are stamped with VersaFine in Onyx Black. It's a set but I cannot find it at the moment -- my apologies. Stamped using Tim Holtz Stamp Platform.)
IMAGINE Crafts' On Point Glue to attach die cut. Sentiment strip was attached with foam mount tape to add dimension.
Curious Metallic Card Stock in Cryogen White
Japanese linen card stock in Tsumugi White from Hanko Designs
And this is another Christmas card using a stamp from Penny Black . . .
Penny Black Stamps "Bell & Berries" 40-576 and "Sweetest Moments" 30-436
Local King Rubber Stamps' 24 Marker Set
Tim Holtz Stamp Platform
Using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I colored the stamp design with the Local King markers and then pressed the stamp onto the card stock. The markers are so wet that they hold for several minutes without drying, perfect for this type of application. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine in Onyx Black. This card could not have been more simple to make.
I'll be back tomorrow. Between now and then, I must put my RubberMoon Moon Mail Swap project together. Thanks so much for stopping by.
