Laurel Burch at Stampendous

Well, the day started out with so many intentions continuing from yesterday. I took the one and only step down to the garage and my ankle gave way. I went down and did something my ankle didn't like. Nothing broke but it sure feels like someone hit my left foot with a humongous sledgehammer. I limped my way to the post office and returned home. All I've done is sit in my big chair with my foot up and on ice. Nothing is helping. Oh well. Live and learn. I've learned I'm a klutz waiting to happen and I've lived through another klutzy day.

As you've learned, I love Laurel Burch designs. This is another very quick and easy card I made for Christmas.

Stampendous, Laurel Burch Designs, Concord & 9th, Die Cutting, Copic Markers

Stampendous' Indigo Cat Stamp Set by Laurel Burch LBDCS02 stamped with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black

Concord & 9th Merry Die 10267

Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Card Stock in White

Green Mirricard Card Stock

Copic Markers

Gold Glitter Pen

(parts of unknown stencil)

After stamping the image, I colored in with Copic markers, blending 3-4 red colors. Whiskers were highlighted with a gold glitter pen. A stencil was placed over the cat and I used a green Copic Marker to color in random squares. The die cut is out of green mirrircard card stock and adhered with small adhesive pop dots. 3 randomly placed sequins were adhered with mini glue dots. Colored panel was adhered to a scrap of Christmas scrapbook paper, and this was then adhered to the white card base.

This cat is going to make an appearance on a lot of cards to come.

Thanks for stopping in and sharing a quick few minutes. I'm planning to be back tomorrow with another card or two.
